What do you think of using a Trijicon Reflex ACOG on AR pistol?
Like the subject says, what do you think of using a Trijicon Reflex ACOG on AR pistol?
Would love to hear what people think of this idea. What type of or kind of step up in AR15 pistols would really shine with a Trijicon Reflex ACOG ?
Note : I do not really know if Trijicon calls it, a Reflex ACOG or an ACOG Reflex. But, it is a Trijicon, a Reflex, and an ACOG. Of that, I am certain.
It would be heavy, but assuming you are talking about the kind of AR with a long buffer tube cheek weld?, it would work nicely.

Weight (oz) 4.2 w/out mount
....and yes, I know there is no charging handle (loaned out)
I really like those.

But, like anything else that is associated with the word ACOG, they aren't cheap.
I run a Reflex on mine but as soon as Rock River can ship parts mine will have a stock (it's a registered SBR)

I have two of these and see no reason they would not work nicely on a pistol just as well as they work on a rifle or SBR. I fail to understand the comments about them being so heavy or a long buffer tube needed. I don't think those posters know what you are talking about. They do not seem heavy to me and certainly are a lot lighter than most optics seen on most rifles and work as close or as far away from them as you want to place your face.
Yes, I'm thinking that at least this type of ACOG would be fine on a pistol.
Cool.
The Trijicon reflex is pretty light when it comes to optics.
My biggest gripe is washout. My RX01 had issues from dark to light transitions
I used one on a previous pistol build ad liked it alot. It was a 7.5 with a carbine (buffer tube / reciever extension) and an ARMS #50 SIR, and a KX3.
I run a Trijicon TA44SG-10 1.5x compact ACOG on my 10.5" and am very happy with it!!!! It's light and fast.
