Hey, everybody.

So, I am rebuilding my LR308B into something a little handier. I've already built a new upper with a Rainier 16" BBL and a mid-length gas system on an A-3 DPMS upper receiver.

Now, I'm trying to shorten/lighten up the buttstock assembly. I've taken off the A2 buttstock and buffer tube.

I want to install a carbine length buttstock assembly.

What do I need to do? Can I keep the original bolt and bolt carrier, or do I need to replace that when going to a shorter buttstock assembly?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

All you need is the 308 carbing buffer and spring with a car tube. Everything else stays the same.

That's what I was hoping, but wanted to make sure. Thanks for the reply!
