Syrac clamp on gasblock with Tory 308 TRX compatibility?
I want to use the Syrac/JP adjustable gas block. I am between the set screw vs the clamp style. I would prefer the clamp style. Will this fit the TRX?
The TRX is said to have a 1.6" ID.
Syrac clamp on has a radius of .725" from the central bose axis.
Correct me if I am wrong, but my math says that should fit since that leaves a radius of .8" from the central bore axis in the handguard.
That is really close though. Any one try this combo or another clamp on gas block witht he Troy 308 TRX?
I've got a set screw one comin in the mail for m 308 TRX. Why not just do set screw? I think the clamp would fit, but it'd be close. Buy from Amazon n return it if it doesn't.
The clamp style will fit.
