Heavier Buffer Springs?
Does anyone make some heavier duty buffer springs for .308 DPMS?
Thanks-
I figured this would be the place to ask since it is specific to variants-
Contact Slash on here he makes springs and buffers for the AR10's

why do you need heavier buffer springs?
Lightweight Bolt. Potentially less inertia, etc.
is your weapon malfunctioning?
No-not been shot yet. Anticipating potential feeding issues when dirty or mags not perfect.
A stouter spring might help solve it without a weight penalty for my lightweight .308.

Because the DPMS factory springs are very weak and have a short service life.
I recommend ArmaLite AR10 buffer springs for ALL .308 AR applications. I've done extensive testing and the ArmaLite springs are the best available for .308s IMO.

Which manufacturer sends out .308 rifles with light weight bolts?
JP, but it is not a JP, it is an AP4. At least it used to be. Shortly, it will be a 6.7 lb rifle.

GTFO dude.
Slash is an invaluable addition to our community. His products and service are top notch.
Valued member or not, all I know is I have 4 LR-308s, all running stock bolt carriers, stock buffers and stock springs, and in calibers DPMS never dreamed of, .500 Phantom (semi-auto version of the .50 Alaskan) , .470
Rhino (semi-auto version of the .470 Nitro Express), .358 HDH (my version of the .358 WSSM), and one they did dream of, the .338 Federal. Thousands of rounds through them and I have never had a DPMS stock spring or buffer fail. Maybe I have not shot them enough or the .308 Win is harder on springs than an elephant round.

I could make a lot more money selling another brand of buffer spring for .308s. I choose to sell what I believe is the BEST spring for my customers. I've done side-by-side testing, have you?
