Spikes Middy 5.45 discontinued

First off before I get scorned, I did attempt a search for this question.
Ok, so I have been trying to buy the Spikes Tactical 5.45 Mid-length since like July of last year when I was in Iraq,
Almost a year later still every damn day it is out of stock. I have asked Spikes on their facebook what the deal is and no answer.
I called AIM and was not told shit. Does anyone hear have any little bit of info as to what is going on with this upper? Is it discontinued?
Back-ordered? I know that all companies that make anything AR related are behind months, but damn it's almost a year now. It's this the new
reality for uppers,waiting years for them to be back in stock? .

I waited awhile for their 8.25" upper. It was worth the wait though.

Thing is I already have the S&W upper with about 10k rounds down the tube. I really want this middy.

You just have to keep checking the website. I picked one up just about a month ago. I had seen one of the guys at AIM say they got a small batch in and they put them on the website instead of sending the e-mails out to the people that were waiting on e-mail notifications. To be honest with you, I'm not even sure why I bought it. It was just one of those jump on the bandwagon type deals. I have actually been trying to reduce the calibers I have to keep up with.
