308 1:11 twist 16" barrel
I have been doing some researching on my build i am familiar with .223 and how to stabilize those and what twist rates work best for certain grain bullets but i am new to .308.
I am trying to figure out if i want to go with 1:10 or 1:11 i have read some conflicting information on what will work best. I am looking for something that will stabilize a wide range of grain weights as the rifle will be used for everything from plinking, hunting, to maybe some longer range stuff.
For example if i wanted to stabilize from 140 to 175 grain?
I have a 16 inch 1/10 barrel that shoots everything pretty good from 110 vmax to 180 winchester PP.
I load 110 Vmax with a full charge of TAC. And the 168 AMAX with a full charge of Varget. Both shoot clay pigeons out to almost 300 yards if I shoot straight.

1/10 is the accepted standard for the .308win. Most shoot well with this twist. 1/11 is fine too.
1:11 will work just fine for 180gr bullets (maybe heavier/longer, not 100% sure though).
