Complete upper assembly
I have a Bushmaster Pretator old style gas system that has been used for long range target and some hunting. I want to buy a 16" upper for it using iron sites use for short range hunting and SD. SAdly i am not well versed on the AR as I had some health issues. What would this forum recomend I purchase? I am 68 with tired eyes. Is the new gas system in uppers compatible with old style lowers?

Yes, you can put a piston upper on your lower. No problem I can think of.
