MSTN Builds

With MSTN redoing their website it is hard to get much info...I have an 18" Noveske on the way and want to get going on an SBR. Buying a lower from MSTN and finishing the build when the stamp arrives is a little more appealing than buying a factory Larue or Noveske and paying up front while I wait on the feds to do their thing...

Any good sources of info on MSTN to which folks can point me? Seems like Wes has a great reputation but trying to get a little more info so I can make a decision on how (and with whom) to move forward.

MSTN is top notch. You will be hard pressed to find a better, more knowledgeable guy. His site has been out for a while but you should easily be able to contact him through email. If you need his address, LMK.

Never heard a bag thing about MSTN. Wes used to post some awesome pics of their builds, and he always used high quality components.

I have contacted Wes and we started a dialogue but just looking for info about the company, etc...

You wont go wrong working with him. Ive dealt with him a couple of times and I was more than satisfied with each dealing.

Wes has high prices. However if that is not an issue, he provides a very nice finished product.

WES IS THE BEST. BUY AND DEAL WITH HIM WITH MUCH CONFIDENCE.

MSTN is good people's ..can't go wrong there.

Wes was a great builder that paid attention to detail and had awesome CS.

I believe he was a bit frustrated with the johnny come lately types of AR shops that put out "just as good as" at about half the price that populate the site these days.

People would ask stupid questions like...well, company X can get me a uber select super match for less money than MSTN...but often they were getting hype. We is a retired Marine fighter pilot. He builds great stuff and guys in Iraq/Astan ran his gear for years early in the GWOT. They sought him out by name based on personal experience. The site is a lesser place without him.

I have a Noveske 14.5 pinned with knights URX3.1 in progress. And three prior purchases and one I've traded into. Wes is amazing to deal with. He also is the only place that does builds with Noveske chrome lined builds outside of Noveske that I know of. It costs but you get whatever premium components you like, and excellent customer service. You simply can't go wrong if you can afford it. You'll get what you pay for.

I agree with all of the comments above. He built me my first two uppers. Great guy, great source of knowledge and advice.

I don't think anyone is complaining about it. Just poking some fun. Wes was well respected around here and builds some damn fine rifles.

Yeah, not complaining about it by any means, I actually found it quite amusing.
