Long story short, I am considering going from my MOE stock to a fixed, but would like to keep my MS3 sling. I am hoping one of you guys could answer this for me:
About 1.5" back from where the standard endplate would be, is the stock hollow/easy to drill?
Basically, I am thinking about drilling though and putting a phosphate D ring into the hole to allow me to clip to it, ala asap plate for a fixed stock.
Probably be better off getting an endplate adapter for it, as the stock would most likely crack/break doing what you want to do. GRSC has an adapter that I use with an HK style hook.

Crap. I'll probably be sticking with my collapsible stock then

I'll play around when I have more money
Search, I recall during the ban, some would epoxy qd mounts into a2 stocks near the end where the spacer would be located.

Maybe this bugger will work.

They're $15.
I put one of
THESE in a Moe handguard and it seems to be holding up so far. One of the pictures shown is the AR fixed stock . David
