My first two AR's are finally how I want them - at least I hope so...

I'd say that what I've taken most from getting my first two AR's just how I want them is that I will without question be building my third AR from scratch. I started with two complete factory DD AR's, and ended up swapping so many dang parts out. In my defense, I didn't realize BRD would hit me so hard, and figured the stock factory rifles would be adequate when I originally purchased them. You live and you learn.
I like the first, and love the second! My next build will be from scratch also..... So many choices
Even after you build them you end up swapping out a ton of parts... that is the way BRD goes...
Looks good.
Great looking AR's, congratulations Ryan.

Yep, and they also tend to reproduce.
Best of luck...
but there is NO escape.
lies there is no cure you need to change something or start another
Great looking rifles..and couch!, maybe the red couch will become your trademark!
Both are nice! I'm working on a 6.8 and want the same handguard that you have on your 2nd one.
Damn that v7 is sick. I also have a v7 and wondered how it would look if i spr'd it.
Nice looking rifles.
mine have been just the way i want them many times now

Far less than 24 hours after I created this thread, I have already ordered a BCM Gunfighter Grip Mod 1 to try out on my M4V4...so much for being done.

After an afternoon trip to the range today, and due to the stance I shoot in while using this AR in a standing position, I'm curious if the angle of the BCM grip will work better for me. And I'm also now curious if an AFG will suit me better than a VFG on this AR as well...though I've heard some say that AFG's don't tend to work ideally on rails shorter than 12 inches - I'm running a 9 inch rail on this AR.
Fortunately, I am fully satisfied with how my M4V7 is configured, and don't foresee any changes for quite some time on this AR.
time for a canned SBR now
I guess it's time to admit that... I too have black rifle disease. Although there is no cure, a budget seems to be the best treatment.
I can just imagine a commercial featuring a man with black rifle disease.

yep
sorry OP. there is no cure.

Both look good
Very nice gotta love a DD V7.

Love both of them, how well do they shoot
They both shoot great. Been getting some sub MOA results at 100 yards with the magnified V7 on a bench with no more than the bipod and a chair. Sure, some of these groups also often open up to an inch or two at that range as well, but that's solely due to me not keeping the rifle perfectly balanced against my shoulder...and I'm sure has nothing to do with the rifle's accuracy. I ended my range session yesterday with a 5-shot nickel-sized group at 100 yards with my V7. I really want to look into getting something to rest my stock on when bench shooting, as my overall results will go way up.
I primarily shoot my non-magnified V4 while standing, and am shooting large groups of about 4 MOA at 50 yards, and about 6 MOA at 100 yards on average right now. I've only been shooting AR's since January, so I'm hoping to see some accuracy improvements as I continue to shoot them more and more.
