I am considering buying a 16" M4 style upper minus bolt carrier and charging handle for $235. My question is how is their quality? Track record? I ran a google search but only found one review (which was positive). Price seems great. Anyone have any info/experience?

I bought one of their uppers with a free float quad rail hand guard and BCG for $350 about a year ago, and it's been an absolute blast. No problems whatsoever. You can't beat the value.

I already have three AR's in 5.56 so I don't need another, but I do want a 14.5" w/perm FH upper to add to my collection, and I'm hoping JSE offers the same deal except in the 14.5" version, hopefully ....

JSE is GTG.

I bought this upper with the BCG for 348 shipped and had it in under 2 weeks. It actually came with a 4 rail gas block and a RRA bolt. Matches my RRA lower perfect and so far it shoots pretty damn well. My 3rd AR and am as happy as I am with my Bushy or my SP1

I've been thinking of one also. I like the gas block, but not being chrome lined is what's holding me back. I would say save your money and buy a better upper. Aim surplus usually has Spikes LE uppers complete for $479.95 shipped. They sell out fast, so you have to keep checking.

I know 2 fellas that bought these and they ran fine. Probably a good deal as it stands.

snoop around predatormasters.com on reviews.

I was on a bench next to one fella and he was shootin shit 55gr. American Eagle and it looked pretty good.

I bought a complete kit from them about a year ago and it was an excellent purchase.

I have 2. I bought the uppers with BCG and charging handle. The one I bought for my dad has a few hundred rounds through it and it is shooting sub 1" at 100 yards. The other one I used for my "dissapator" knock off but I haven't shot it yet, just finished painting it up tonight.

I am rather new here. But I just purchased a JSE upper, it came with a 4 rail gas block, not the single like it the picture, and a DPMS bcg (they had complete ones up until last week), with MOE handguards for 368. Seems like a good shooter. Super fast shipping. A week later my dad purchased an entire M4 style AR from them for 545 dollars. It was a mix of YHM, RRA and Del-Ton. Seems like a nice rifle for the money.

Just received a JSE upper today and fit and finish are perfect with my LMT Defender lower. Can't be more happy with what I received for the money paid.

+1 for JSE.

I bought a barrel with a gas block from them. They did not include the gas block. I called them and asked about it. They basically said "tough!'

As far as I am concerned, I bought something from them they refused to give me. I think they are a bunch of crooks. Save your money and buy from a reputable company.Do not buy from JSE.

TAG. My Delton barrel assembly is in transit right now from JSE. (1st order) This post peaked my curiosity.

Got the upper on Xmas eve. It is definitely good to go fellas! Shot her yesterday and she shoots very nice @ 100. Seems to like 62 grain fmj. It has been slightly modified by me now, nothing major––

That isn't the first report of JSE not sending all the parts to customers with their orders. All reports have indicated that when the customer called JSE to inform them of the oversight, JSE refused to send the missing parts out. All the reports of this I have read where concerning Del-Ton kits.

Dang! dude you did'nt mess around and decked that puppy out. Fine looking rifle too. keep her good and lubed up to start.

The fella next to me that day went through a couple hundred rounds of AE. I never seen him dick'n with his rifle at all.

Sometimes smaller shops building rifles pay more attention to lining up gas blocks/ports and other small details. Some actually take pride in their work.
