Troy 15" extreme rail

Just bought a FDE 15" Extreme rail off of the Troy sight. Stupid question, but does it come with the wrench to use on the proprietary barrel nut or can I use a stock barrel nut wrench?

It comes with a wrench, standard barrel but wrench doesn't fit.

I've used a DPMS barrel wrench to install both of my Troy nuts. I use the scalloped side, not the 2 pins. Works for me. The rail does come with a wrench, but you need a 1/2" (I think) socket wrench for it.

EXCELLENT! I have a 1/2 that I use anyway. Can't wait to slap that sucker on!

That picture does not do it justice. I have a 13" and thought it was long. A buddy of mine just put on a 15" and it just looks like it goes on forever.

Thanks for the info. Anyone know if the Troy Gas Block 2″ will work with this handguard? Are they running any current discount codes?

Anyone know who has these in FDE in stock? Placed an order with Troy and they said they were backedup till September.

Wow they actually gave you an ETA? I haven't gotten a straight answer on a 308 MRF rail. I want to keep Troy on all my rifles but I might start looking elsewhere for my 308.

I found and bought the last one that Primary Arms had in stock. Spoke with a you lady at Troy she said that they are very popular and the could not have thought they would have been so much and they would be in stock in august.
