I know they exist, but what serial number makes a KAC SR25 a pre ban? I emailed Kevin at KAC as per informed by a member, I've searched everywhere for a pre ban sr list and came up empty. All I can find is some rare 1/100 sr25 lightweights, nothing on sr25 pre bans up to.......? Any help?

Sorry, but we can not tell by just the serial number range band, as numbers back then were not always sequential.
If you send a serial number, however, we can tell when and who it was sold to, usually a Dealer.

Before I went to work at Knight's in 1994, I was the original owner of #15, an SR-25 Match Rifle as they were called in those days.
Although it was a great gun, today I'd put my $ on our EM Carbine or EM Rifle, as these two weapons benefit from almost 20 years of learning how to make them better.

I agree that a newer sr25 match is a more advanced weapon by today's standards but....in Connecticut, can not have a flashider on it. I also think an unfired SR25 from 1993 will still shoot very nice, I have 100% faith in any KAC product.

SR-25 EM Rifle doesn't have a muzzle device.

you are correct, an SR-25 EM does not have a muzzle device (or a flash hider), but an SR25 K does.

Guys, did a search for and couldn't find anything. What are the options and dimensions of the over the bbl threading on an older SR-25. What suppressor options are there with this style?
