Has anyone tried such a thing or at least something that kind of resembles the idea?

I don't think that yall two are talking about the same gun...

This is what I think the OP is referring to:

The gun on TOS was a 300BLK version of KAC's SR-635, using the PDW round in an AR platform; since AFAIK the PDW is not being made right now. To clone the PDW, now that would be a feat.

There isn't enough PDW DNA around to make a clone.

Well I didn't mean so much a clone persay...

More like it's retarded ugly fat sister but you'd still use it because it reminds you how awesome the real deal would be to play with

Come on I can dream right?

You know, I gave this ALOT of thought.

The CLOSEST I could come to a compromise closest to real one or could be made to LOOK like one sorta, kinda maybe squint an eye or two, and probably a PDW I would really want, would be a XCR Micro in 300 BLK. Folding stock, small, compact, like the real deal, but not like a small AR, as the XCR doen't require a buffer tube, and will fold up real nice. Problem is, show me an XCR Micro 223 PDW SBR for sale right now. I think Robinson fell off the earth.

I'd still be 100% OK with the .22lr version

It'a definitely a genuine offer. I don't mind anyone shooting my stuff . You're not planning on bringin 3 beta mags and a FA lower are you ? ..We'll coordinate something once we figure out each others schedule..I usually hit the range every Friday night and train with the guys from the Gun Gallery so, I'll keep you posted through IM's...

ETA: Too bad that FDCC is trying out a new range in St. Augustine or I would say let's meet in LC since it's about halfway for the both of us..The range we train at only has a max distance of about 90yds and I would like you to see what the EMC is capable of at longer ranges..

Good job on the grip. I need to round off the bottom of mine more like what you have done.

Here is the SR-635 clone in 300BLK that was talked about earlier.

Casey - now I'm just showing off.
