Just got a new RRA Elite Operator 2... Sweet gun... I am fairly sure I know the answer to this question, but I am going to ask any way... The small rail under the site on this model would best be used for what? Light, laser or other???? Cannot find any pictures of anyone utilizing this mount so I am just curious... thanks in advance...

I have an elite operator 2 and mine loves 62gr bulk ammo. At 50 yards the 5 shot groups are .3inch. At 100 yards they open up to .625 inch

RIF

I briefly used that short section of rail for a light mount.

I tried a light on mine but didn't like the positioning. I don't use mine for anything, but you could put just about anything that works I'd imagine.

Kinda weird spot but maybe an alternate sling attachment, bayonet, etc.

Awesome! I just picked up my first AR yesterday - also a RRA Elite Operator 2. I'm looking forward to breaking it in on Saturday!

Please bring on any additional tips!

To enhance your shooting experience, wear a glove on your support hand (or get a vertical foregrip) if you're going to be shooting any real quantities of ammo. If you get the half-quad hot, it stays hot as long as you keep shooting. It cools fairly well once you either slow th erate of fire or give it a little rest.
