Collapsible stock compatibility for mid length LAR-8?
Looking to get a new collapsible stock for my mid length LAR-8. I was thinking about the CTR stock. In commercial diameter, will it work? If so, how tight is it on the buffer tube? Any additional accessories required?
I am open to other options as well.
The "plastic" part of a commercial CTR should fit fine on an LAR-8's commercial-diameter receiver extension. The mil-spec CTR will fir on the mil-spec extesnion when it is released (shortly). What you can't do is use a complete CTR stock kit on an LAR-8. The extension, buffer, and action spring are not functionally compatible with the LAR-8 platform.
