 6.8 Ammo

Just wondering what RRA uses for ammo on the test firing of the 6.8?? I believe I remember that Black Hills and Lake City were the 223 brands but just curious what the mfg for the 6.8 ammo was. Also, SSA lists out an 85 gr TSX bullet. Is there any pressure problems with this round in the SPCII chamber and 1/10 tube on the 6.8?

Very hapy with groups that I am getting and even more pleased with the ease of swapping out the Pred Pursuit with the A4 6.8. I had planned on putting a Hogue FF hand guard on there, but with the accuracy I am getting, I can't see a reason.

Thanks

Normally SSA 115gr Matchkings.
We've used other brands as well, but the SSA seems to be the most consistent in performance and availability in the quantities we order.

THanks Steve,

Been shooting the 110 OTM's from SSA as well. I'll pick up a few boxes of the match kings and see how they shoot as well.

After making a call to SSA, they said that "The Rock" would do quite well with the 85 gr tsx's. The old SAAMI chamber is the problem and not the slightly faster 1/10 twist rate.

No feed troubles at all, accuracy is slipping into the 1" circle more every time i get to shoot. This upper wasn't quite the tack driver the Pred Pursuit was right out of the box (she shot a true 3/4" day one), but it is certainly improving with each range session and I am very sure that it will stay wiithin the 1" circle once i pick a load and get everything set up.

I am very happy with the performance and can see several deer (hopefully the one that mangled my TRUCK) tagged and bagged in about 4.5 months! Once again great product and great quality.
