 Threaded GSG 1911?

Are any of these coming threaded?

I'm very close to picking up a GSG 1911 and I'm wondering if anyone knows if the barrel is threaded on the new "Tactical" model?

I've got a SWR Spectre that should be here very soon and I'm going to need something else to throw it on and I think the GSG might be just the ticket.. :)

Everything, I've read it has a thread adapter, like the P22s do…

and good luck with the thread pitch...M9 x .75

But Kel at GemTech has one

All GSG 1911 pistols come with the threaded barrel whether its the one with the fake can or not.

We will only have a non threaded version available IF it passes CA hand gun roster tests, and then that will only be for CA, so figure 95% ever will be threaded.

I am in California for right now and would love an ATI 1911. How far away are these from entering California? PM sent regarding getting these into California, I look forward to hearing from you sir.

This is true, they are just not threaded with standard threading, they are metric I believe, so an adapter must be used for 1/2 -28.. I am using the Swarfworks and it's awesome. :)

sorry to resurrect a old thread but does anyone know if the factory "threaded" GSG's with the fake silencer "metric threaded" have the same barrel nut as the regular model? Was wondering if you could buy that model and throw out the fake silencer and put the 1/2 x 28 thread adapter on it so you could get a GSG with a rail??

Got it figured out, it is the same barrel nut as the "standard" version it is just extended and threaded in metric. So if you want 1/2 x 28 for your real silencer and want the rail on the GSG you would use the same thread adapter and toss the fake can and metric threads to the side.
