I just ordered a MOE today. If I was you, I would get a MOE but my opinion is strictly based off of what I have been told by a lot of other people. I do not have first hand experience but I just know I really don't need to spend the extra $$ on a lock but I don't know your situation.

wow I ordered mine in march directly from magpuls website and had it in one week. the moe handgaurd at the time took about 2-3 weeks.
