Got in my 10/22 towers today! *pic*

Got my order in today and spent a little time swapping the towers over.
All 4 ran great right out of the box.
This 10/22 has a full auto Norrell trigger pack.
I did add some aluminum tape to the lower rear edge of the tower to bridge the gap giving the drum a 100% lockup.
It ran fine without it but I abuse my stuff and to me this took away a potential point for the drum to be rocked and knock off
one of the locking points.

Thanks for the towers!

Thats good news! your the first to test it out in a F/A 10-22. Better than those "other drums" right?

Yes!
I have tried about everything else on the market and this makes the
others look like they were designed while drinking the bong water.

Thanks again for making this.
I will be ordering 6 more complete units when they are ready.
That will give me 500 rounds that I can load before heading to the range!

I just received my BD 10/22 50rd drum. I loaded it up with Federal bulk pack .22 then into the Norrell. A 50rd burst without a single hicup. Loaded the mag again, bursts, single shots, flawless.

A sturdy design that looks like it was built to last. Loads easy, locks up nice and looks great.

Thanks Kevin and the Black Dog team. You guys rock!

My 3 arrived this afternoon. Loaded them up right quick and headed out for a test run through the Norrell. Federal 550-Round bulk pack. 300 rounds with 1 hiccup, and that was with someone else running it (nothing like full-auto for making new friends at the range ). Of course this could have been ammo related, considering it was the cheap stuff.

I'm extremely pleased - this is GREAT out-of-the-box performance for a 50-round, .22lr drum.

My only concern is that the heat and friction of full-auto use will wear the lips down pretty fast. And they WILL BE rode hard. Time will tell but it'd be even better if they were metal. I'm confident though that if any issues arise BDM will make it right.

Finally shot a quick vid today, during a local shoot. The gun had fired over 1,000 rounds, at least, by the time I got a chance to shoot with the camera. The bolt was starting to get more than a bit gummy and crunchy. In the second vid, you can see my thumb forcing it closed. However, the drums worked fine.....

Btw, per John the cyclic rate on these is 1,000 to 1,200 rpm, unsuppressed. That's dang fast for a mag to keep up with.
