I have seen some pictures with what looks like the QD mount and it seems like it sits higher than the standard mount.
My question is, with the "higher" mount, would I be able to put a set of HK416 sights on my rifle with this scope and have it not be in the field of vision?

You will have a mirage like image, just concentrate on you intended target and you will never know its their.
