optic selection help????
just ordered my first ar. had all intentions on getting a red dot site. but have recently thought about getting a scope. Not sure what would best suit my needs and wanted to turn to the experts. any help would be great. this is my first rifle. i would assume most of my shots will be from 50 yards and out most being around 100 wouldnt mind trying longer than that. i want my wife to be able to also shoot it. not sure if she will accurate past 50 yards with a red dot. the only thing im worried about with the scope is quick target accustion on closer range shots that i think i will enjoy doing. these are my two choices that im thinking about. any help would be great based on what i think i most of my shooting will be.

Take a look at there 3X powered scope. Good for close in shooting. If you just shooting out to a hundred yards that should do it. Maybe there 1X4 scope.

is the 3x good for close range and can you find the target quick enough on moving targets?
can i shoot the 1x4 like a red dot and is it affective at close range and fast shooting like 25 or 50 yards? i see they should be instock this week
