DS Arms AR

Who owns one, are they any good. Wanted to look into the 11.5 barrel 5.5 fh model, any feedback would be appreciated.

Yep I know that, I'm really looking for product quality feedback. This will be my last gun purchase for a while and I want to make a good one, I own DS Arms FAL's and they are top line are their AR models of the same quality.

I love my AR from DSA, may even purchase another one....especially if Obama Osama gets in.

Thank you! I think a lot of guys are holding off until the election, but the rush is starting to pick up. Most vendors I have spoken to are reporting a big jump in sales starting late last week. I suspect the closer the election comes with Obama still ahead in the polls, the more nervous people are. I know it led me to go through with a few purchases I had been contemplating. Let us hope this turns out to have been unwarranted, and we all just end up with a few extra toys.

I love my DSA FAL and I am sure their AR's are the same top notch quality. But I cannot for the life of me understand why you would sacrifice the velocity of a 16" barrel for a 5.5" "flash hider" that is ineffective as a flash hider.

I owned an AR like that when I was first getting into guns, and have had some friends who did as well. It was purely out of nostalgic interest in the configuration since it was used in the Vietnam War. Similarly I have an AKSU with a long can to make legal length, largely out of historical interest. I will likely SBR it when I get time.

I just bought my first AR ever and its a DSZM4MID, I wish there was more info out there about it but from what i have heard so far I feel good about it, and DSA backing it's quality makes me feel even better yet,

Well Friday will be the day, unfortunately when I first bought my ZM4 we were in the middle of Deer season so no outdoor range shooting allowed, and then I went into my 9 day stretch at work, nearly a month of having a new riffle and being unable to shoot has been driving me nuts, come Friday cold nor blizzard will keep me from heading out to the range, I have some military pre-deployment training starting the 7th so this will be my one opportunity to break-in, sight-in, and just have fun

I will be getting a Spartan AR this week and will post a review as soon as I can get to the range.

Mine has been in the queue for a bit and is a demo gun. No special favors for being moderator I am afraid. I will check on the back order status but I believe that is the case.

John any idea on how long the wait list is, if you guys are even doing a wait list.

I will check today and see if I can get some general info on back orders for various items. With the election panic buying I am hearing the shop is pretty backed up.

I should have my review up over the holidays. My day job gives me some time off around then, so the first day I can get some good weather I will head to the range.
