I'd like to clear up some confusion about this barrel. Can I shoot both 308 and 7.62x51 out of this barrel safely. I'd like an answer from DPMS please.

Yes you can shoot either.

We recommend using American made brass cased ammunition for best results.

Thanks. I noticed on your site that you list 3 types of barrel chambers 308, 7.62x51 and 7.62 x51 Nato. Can you explain all the differances please.

7.62x51 and 7.62x51 NATO listed on our site is the same thing.

I recommend Federal gold medal match 168g you can find it online for a buck a round and it is extreamly accurate . mine loves it.
