Colt Carbon 15?

Buddy says he saw one and wanted to purchase one..I have scoured the internet in search of this item but cannot find one...any ideas? Or is he crazy?

He's crazy. Carbon 15 is originally from Professional Ordinance, who was bought out by Bushmaster. Bushmaster still has the design in production.

Colt has done some strange things in the past, but a carbon ar-15 isn't among them.

lol yea I spent the last 2 hours arguing with him about it. He swore he saw it, but turns out it was prolly a BM. Thanks for proving I am not crazy..well ...you know.

Years ago I had a Bushmaster Carbon15, and I actually had pretty decent luck with it. On several occasions I considered mounting the Carbon15 upper onto one of my Colt lowers...just to watch the heads explode at the range from the blasphemy

One of the self proclaimed "Colt experts"at my old club claimed to own "every variation of Colt rifle ever made" I wanted to mark my C15 upper with a "C", install a Colt barrel and BCG, and then bring it to him-just to watch the hilarity ensue after I dropped it in his lap

Any chance it was that import .22 rifle with the Colt markings?
