I just order a Colt LE6933. What Flip Up Rear Sites work well on the 6933 ? I like my son's Troy sites on their POF 416, with 7.25 barrel and a Spikes with a 10.5" barrel. Those sites were purchase as a front and rear site combo. I need a good flip up rear site that works well with the Colt's 6933 front site.

~$50 on the EE - U.S. military issue, as sturdy as a BUIS needs to be, fully elevation adjustable - cheaper than the MBUS poly-crapulous rear sights - lower profile, and more durable.

Augee,
Thank You!
I order one.
I have been looking at that site in Targetmasters located in Chadds Ford PA. I did not know the sites name is Matech. Targetmasters has them in their Colt's Parts Case for M16/AR15. This case is full of Colt parts. I believe they advertise the Matech as issued on GI M16s with a price tag of $100.00.
Merry Christmas!

Disregard the previous post and get a KAC 300M rear sight. I've used the Matech, ARMS 40, Troy, etc. Elevation adjustment on a BUIS is not a practical feature. The 300M is superior in every way to any of the other brands mentioned for like 99% of applications. It's more expensive than the others, but it's only money. Buy once, cry once.

The KAC 300m is indeed a fantastic rear BUIS. It just costs way too much for what it is - a back-up iron sight.
Elevation adjustment is pretty superfluous in a BUIS. But the MATECH's got it for less than the price of most of the other junk out there.
Love my KAC BUIS. Would never pay full price (the ones I've got have come in trades / screaming deals, ect.) for one when I could get the MATECH on the cheapy. I'm usually not a "buy cheap" advocate, but the MATECH is a known quanity.
The SOPMOD program ditched the BIS II component of the Phased Replacement and Increment 2 and 3 upgrades because the "factory" MATECH is simply works just fine for a BUIS.

I traded my KAC 600m BUIS straight up for a MATECH BUIS to a friend on here. I like the MATECH better. Plus it's more "correct".
