Can the Super-Stoc that comes on new Colt rifles be used on a commercial reciever extension? I got one in a trade and I cannot get the cross pin out. In the video for the Rogers Super-Stoc it pops out easily. I am pushing from the right side. Are the ones on the Colt rifles not able to be adjusted?

I watched the video multiple times. If you watch about 4 minutes into the video he pops out a pin by just applying pressure to it. That is where I am getting hung up. That pin will not budge. I've even used a hammer and there has not been any movement.

Could it be tapered?

Here is a reply I got from Bill Rogers " the Colt version of our stock is made OEM for Colt Buffer Tubes only". Oh well I will just have to buy a new receiver extension. The commercial one I have was just one I had sitting around.

Does that mean Colt Buffer Tubes are not Mil-Spec?

Mine are
all Mil-Spec- as is the remainder of each rifle.

All Colt receiver extensions (buffer tubes) are mil-spec. It sounds like the OP is trying to use the Colt version of the Super Stock on a different gun with a commercial tube and it won't work. Sounds like Rogers has prevented this functionality with the Colt specific version of the stock.
Not sure why anyone would want to run a commercial tube, but to each his own...
That is the case, I am trying to use it on a commercial tube. The stock does fit my colt and all my other receiver extensions. I had some parts laying around and I wanted to use them on a rifle I am assembling. It's a gun for my wife so it will not get used as much as my other carbines so I figured why not use some parts I already have that are not being used. Oh well I just ordered a mil-spec tube.
