In the next few years I am going to be re-barreling my 6921, so i was going to start looking for a replacement. Question is this, what is the legallity of possesing it, as my upper now is pinned w/ A2X? Suggestions? Barrel on it now still has life in it, but want to get the search for a replacement started if possible.

The Feds see the spare barrel as "just a piece of metal". As long as its not connected to a receiver. It's not readily usable. I don't know about your state law. -W

thanks for the info. I happen to live in may be the most gun loving state, but thought I would check. Could have got a a comp/flashhider pinned on it when I find it, but not sure which I want right now.

If you're going to pin a flash hider on a 14.5" barrel, I recommend using the extended battlecomp brake. It's awesome. Virtually eliminates muzzle rise under rapid fire.
