Thank you.
What did you type in to find that image? "Colt AR15 compensator" didn't produce anything for me.
I tried to type in "colt ar-15 compensator 6601-c tinypic" and I saw that same pic on the first row.
HTH
The compensator that Colt uses is called the Jerry Mitulek AR-15 Compensator. Colt pins them on, as the picture shows. Here is a link to the threaded version.

My first AR was a Colt MT6400C Match Target M4 and it had this compensator. It worked very well at reducing recoil but was very loud for neighboring shooters.
As a coincidence, my compensator all came off the barrel just like the one in the picture. On day while I was doing double taps up close I saw a large object fly down range and make a large hole in my 10 meter target. It was the comp. I sent it back to Colt and they reinstalled. I never had another problem and eventually sold that rifle.

That's kind of funny.

THEY ARE SIMILAR BUT COLT MAKES IT'S OWN VERSION. www.jerrymiculek.com VERSION IF YOU LOOK IN THE PICTURE IS DIFFERENT .
CAPS LOCK IS NOT YOUR FRIEND.
