Value of Colt LE6920HB from Specialized Armament Warehouse?
Hello Colt Gurus,
I have 1 of the 300 Colt LE6920HB’s with 16” SOCOM profile M4 barrels that Specialized Armaments Warehouse had made up in 2003.
It is unmodified, with no added accessories, and virtually new looking from the factory. It has had about 300 rounds fired through it. I still have the original cardboard box with all of the factory accessories and manuals in the plastic bag. I also have the letter of authenticity semt to me by Specialized Armament Warehouse.
What would you estimate the value is?
Thanks for your help.

Maybe a few hundred over a 6721. It's just not that uncommon now that the ban is over and new one's were produced. They were valuable because they could not be produced and sold to civi's under the 94-04 ban.

Probably about right, maybe a little more. Being from SAW, it's a shooter.
OK, thanks. So this rifle isn't considered to be some kind of Colt collector's rifle or anything?
If it was I was going to sell it and buy 2 normal production Colts. If it wasn't I was going to modify it a little and shoot the crap out of it.
Thanks for the input.
I would shoot the crap out of it.
My understanding when these were offered is that they were requested by SAW for Colt to build.
Colt built these (I remember seeing a few of the letters from Colt), NOT SAW. They only requested the build and the limited number.
If I am wrong.........not the first time.
I wouldn't worry about it since you have already fired it.
Now if it was pristine NIB, that's a different story.

It is my understanding as well that these are full Colt factory assembled rifles that were custom ordered by SAW.
I had one, NIB, that I had listed for quite a while on the EE. I got $1660 for it. Took a long time to sell. I don't think that there is much demand for them given the price of a 6920 and the minimial cost of adding a SOCOM 14.5" barrel and selling the stock barrel...
I Have number 220 out of the three hundred. IT'S a shooter !

I see you're finally getting control of your CAPS LOCK problem.

If you ask Ken, they are priceless, when you buy them from him.
He's somewhat proud of his stuff. Oh, and anything else not Colt, absolute is junk. According to him.
