ACR charging handle

Anybody else's charging handle arm beating up the muzzle end of the charging handle slot? Or barrels becoming loose after 1-2 mags? Or your barrel lock clicking an extra notch after a while? Or bolt not locking back with new Pmags?

The charging handle hitting the slot isn't really an issue unless it bugs you, sorta like how a good amount of the finish on the charging handle of my AR-15 is worn away. It just happens. From what I've read, HK guns with the forward cocking knob (MP5s, etc) are the same way. If your barrel is coming loose, I'd call Bushmaster up.

The new Pmag issue is due to the follower not comming all the way up to the feed lips of the magazine. The front notch on the follower of the new mags is not as long as the old ones, and that keeps it from going all the way to the feed lips. I just bought 2 emags that are doing the same thing in my ACR and couple other rifles. Just haven't had a chance to call mag pull and remedy the problem.

The best of my help I can give you is for your p-mags. I was having the same issue (The two P-mags I had an issue with I bought seperate, the ones bushmaster sent me worked perfectly), so I emailed mag-pul customer support. They got back with me within a couple of days, explained the problem, and sent me 4 or 5 new followers. I swapped the old with the new and now the bolt locks back every time. I'm sorry I cant be of more help with the other issues, all I can say is contact bushmaster as I do not have these same issues with my ACR. Except for the charging handle damaging the area forward of it, but i'm pretty sure its an issue most if not all ACR users are experiencing.

Thanks for the replies guys I'll do a function test to see which of my newer Pmags need their followers changed... I'm having BM look at the barrel loosening while they currently have it for the recall work - so we'll see what happens there and hopefully it'll be GTG for more blasting!
Now what I really need to do is swap out the QRP2 on the Aimpoint for a LT mount since I like to mount it forward to allow room for a 3x mag... it gets awful annoying when I smash my thumb when charging the weapon

I have a Aimpoint Comp M3, Im just going to reverse the LT mount so that the quick release is on the right instead of left. Ive bashed my thumb a couple of times. I am also going to throw the 3x on it so it does need to be mounted forward as well
