Will an AR15 selector work in the ACR?

Is it possible to just replace the selector lever (with an AR15 selector lever) and keep the rest of the Bushmaster fire control group intact?

Would like to use the Battle Arms ambi selector.

I thought about trimming the right side lever. It digs into my trigger finger when in the fire position.

This is what I did
