Mine got there earlier this week for something else (barrel) so I'm gonna call on Monday just to make sure it gets whatever fix they're doing while it's there.

I only have 70 rds through mine, so not sure, but I think I will wait before I send it in. Heck there are what about 4k of them out there? Not shooting any time soon, so I can wait a bit

the rumor i keep hearing on the internet (I know, I know) is some ACR's have gone full auto during firing, but It can't be that widespread of a problem, because I never heard of that issue before the recall.

Well they should have kept some of their good gun people on the payroll, they laid off a bunch of gun designers so who is going to fix this problem, probably Remington's people since they run the show now anyways
FN had the same problem when they came out with the FS-2000, I had to send mine in because it could go full auto, its called growing pains on any new design

Im not sure if im breaking forum rules but please forgive me. Im only trying to help.
It seems as someone on another forum had slam fireing issues on another forum.
His problem is here http://www.firearmstalk.com/forums/f25/new-bushmaster-acr-slam-fires-223-ammo-31555/
Long story short, his slam fires occurred in September, prior to Bushmasters recall released this month (Oct.). He sent it in and Bushmaster made these comments also located on page 2, post 17 of the above link.
Repair Notes:
D101.1
D140
ADJUSTED FIRE CONTROL GROUP. BOLT HAD A SMALL CHIP BY CAM PIN. EXCHANGED BOLT ASSEMBLY AS WELL. TEST FIRED OK 90 ROUNDS WITH NO MALFUNCTION.
Maybe you all can check your ACR parts for this especially if you have had this problem? It could be an unrelated issue or maybe its what you all are looking for.
Once again, i hope i didnt do anything against forum rules by posting other forum materials but i just wanted to help.
