Everything is tight, nice finish etc. All controls are smooth.
My two hang ups are the handguard is no where near long enough for me(I shoot with an aggressive forward hold, and I have long arms), and the ambi selector(many have mentioned this)

Grip on Safe:

Attempting to switch to fire:

Exaggerated grip to see if I could get the selector to clear my hand:

Other side:

Modified the selector to aid in clearing my hand:

Another view (stippled surface:

Rifle shot:
The selector still hits my hand but it brushes rather than stopping (I may still shorten the lever itself).

I have a short/mid length MOE handguard on order from Bushmaster, but I think for my support side shooting grip will require the rifle length handguard to fit me (again long arms and I wear XXL gloves)

All in all I really like it, will put rounds down range this weekend.

For those that havent seen the rifle length polymer hand guard:

Will still be waiting on the alloy lower

I could even live with an extended aluminium rail like long version of the Remy ACR. Paint mock-up from the MSR rail:

I'm sure something is in the works for us long armed guys..

I never understood what the issue was with the ACR ambi selector, when the AR15 selector does the same thing when you hold it off hand. The AR selector touches my finger when I hold the rifle by the offhand.

My issue is that to get the selector to actuate I have to adjust my grip briefly to allow the selector to clear my hand and go in to the fire position. With ARs my thumb is long enough that I don't have to adjust my grip at all to actuate the selector to fire. When using an AR off hand I have to adjust my grip tho get the selector to clear my hand.

Took her out on my lunch break..
Enhanced w/ MOE handguard
Aimpoint Micro w/ DD mount
180rds, ran perfect blend of old non polymer '95 wolf, and PMC bronze both 55 grn.(very light recoil), next I'll shoot some hot 5.56 through it and see how it performs.
Note: Two UDE Pmags did not BHO, but they did have quite a gap between the follower and the feed lip, no surprise.

It's the Magpul way. They teach this to mitigate recoil. I am not 100% convinced, seems a bit odd to me but I am not closed-minded so I will refrain from judgement.

This, I was a more traditional shooter until I took a magpul dynamics carbine course, it is a way to shoot, not THE way to shoot. It works really well for me, instead of timing with recoil, you drive you gun aggressively . In addition to being a more controllable for me the human body in a startle response will cause you to drop your head down between shoulders(among other things), instead of fighting your natural response you shoot from the position that your body is in.

I like your setup. Very similar to mine. I also have the MOE handguards on my CB enhanced much better than the railed forend IMHO. I'm rockin a T-1 too.
