 Bushmaster M4 vs. Colt M4 (6400)

I hope that this has not been covered already, but despite my searching, I have not found a satisfactory answer.

I have a Bushmaster M4 that I am perfectly happy with. However I had a chance to handle the 6400 yesterday and it had me wondering, would there be anything gained by trading the Bushmaster in for the Colt? There seems to be differences in opinion, so what's the definitive word.....is the Colt mil-spec throughout & have the chrome lined bore & chamber? I heard that the Colt has M4 feed ramps and that my Bushie does not. What benefit do these feed ramps provide?

To make a long story short, what could I gain by going with the Colt? Would I lose any benefit by trading off the Bushmaster?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I posted an identical thread to this over in the Colt section. I know that there is some dissent between the two camps and I'm hoping to find some consensus between the two.

Hahahaha, thats funny, but c'mon now.... The differences, in my view are small. In the end I will take Bushmaster because;
1) they use standard size trigger pins

2) they offer far more options and configurations than Colt

3) they are responsive to their customers and their concerns and...

4) they are supportive of this site (which a BIG plus!)

Your wallet will be lighter if you buy the Colt, and for the same basic rilfe, sans feed cuts......Now there are literally a boat load of M-16's out there that for years have not got feed ramp cuts, and still function as intended. Is that worth a bunch of extra $$.

777,
I have now owned both...a postban Bushy and now a preban Colt. Both had/have chrome lined and free-float barrels. I SWEAR my Bushy was more accurate. I recently shot the Bush again when I went shooting with the guy I sold it to and shot a much tighter group. Both rifles were bench rested, same ammo. Yes, I know having a flash hider changes the barrel's "harmonics", but...
So, get the Bushmaster and apply your saved change to ammo or extra mags! The only way I would buy a Colt is if it was a preban...because by that time (money) it is as much an investment as it is a weapon.

P.S. There was a recent blurb about Colt Vs. Bushmaster accuracy in "Gun and Weapons for Military and LE". The article was actually a review of a new suppressor, but you will get the idea.
