So I recently bought a Vortex Viper PST and was browsing around the Vortex website and came acorss their online computer program located at
http://www.vortexoptics.com/content/lrbc_tutorials I was playing around with it, but am unsure if I am reading everything right. I loaded in a factory load of Federal Match .223, selected the reticule on my Viper PST, and this is what it spit out.
So the way I am reading it, for the match and magnification settings, the first hash mark at 0 degree incline would be zeroed at 222, the second hash mark for 310, and so on down the line. Thoughts?
Yes, you're reading it correct. Did you do the trajectory validation as well? That will give you a corrected BC and should nail down the ranges exactly.

Not yet. Wanted to use this as a starting point and make sure I was using the program right! Thank you!

You're welcome. Let me know how those numbers work out for you.
I used the program for my .308 in a comp in Utah and it was spot on.
