Ok, Armalite. After some work with a few of the A4s and the nwere mags over the past couple of years I am really jonesing for an AR-10 in the A2 format. In other words, with the Forward Assist and a normal carrying handle upper (not the removeable type).

Though I am poor as a church mouse right now, I'll be selling my M1A, all the mags and some limited edition art lithos I have that still have some decent value....this is one gun I really don't want to miss out on.

So...how long till the straight A2 rifle has the FA?

I've got an AR-10 A2 and I don't think they plan on adding a FA to the weapon. I've never had a reason where it was needed on the 7.62.

Yes. Except that, right now, the A2 does not have an FA; only the A4s do. Sometime in the fall they are supposed to add the FA to the A2. I was wondering how that is coming along.

The 10A2 configurated models will have the forward assist when we start to build them this fall.

My birthday is in October....I'll gladly let you guys let me do a review on one. You can just pay me in...a Armalite.

Seriously, though, do you have a general "autumn" time frame? September? October?

They're scheduled for November but if you're aware how production schedules go......they're subject to change.
