We've been getting alot of questions about the different SKU's of 55gr Fiocchi 223 we sell to agency, wholesale and retail customers. Most Internet sites, etc. carry the 223A US made Fiocchi line (which is great ammo IMO), but DSG also sells contract overruns as well as imports from Fiocchi of Italy when we can. Currently we have the 223A, 223AFM and M193 spec ammo from Fiocchi all in stock.
Last weekend a few of the guys here broke out the chronograph at our range to get some numbers on the different SKU's. Hope this helps...
Weapon used: Noveske 16" with SS 1:7 barrel. Temp about 85 degrees and elevation at our place is about 1100ft - 5 shot averages
Federal XM193
3203.46 fps
Fiocchi M193
3249.88
Fiocchi 223AFM
3077.60
Fiochhi 223A
2968.85
This is not a scientific review and your results may vary - but we hope this helps...
I guess I should add that all these SKU's are crimped and cannelured bullets with annealed cases. The 223AFM and M193 Fiocchi in stock currently is in NATO brass.
223AFM and M193 both used crimped primers and all these SKU's are boxer primed. 223A will be easier to work with for some of the reloaders (since the primer pocket is not crimped).
Do you have any Chrono numbers for the 62 gr. loadings?
Not yet. We've test fired a bunch of it, but will get some chrono numbers next chance we get.

62gr to come. We are headed to the range soon.
You will likely see the AFM again, however price is TBD.
