What are the chances of the following?

A slickside upper receiver without a gas port hole?

An A1 lower receiver marked 9mm NATO instead of 5.56?

Thanks,

uxb

Anything is possible.......................but I have too many irons in the fire right now.

As long as it is possible.

I'm a patient man.

I would think that the upper could be done with an old 604 upper.

They should be 6061, and the gas tube hole could be welded closed.

How hard is it to delete a machining step, the gas hole in this case, when you are using CNC? Is it a major pita? Or just a mouse click?

Never done CNC, so I'm curious

It's not hard technically, but it can mess stuff up later if you forget about it.

Also, it's a PITA to make small runs of "special" stuff.

If we can't sell 100's of something, it's not worth doing a run. This falls into that category.

I would buy one...but them you probably already knew that. I really like the 633's I would probably be putting it on my planned 634/635 build (10.5" build with standard FSB).

Again nice 633.
