What is the deal with the special chrome silicoane spring for the P mags...

I want to buy some P mags and see 44 MAG has two kind of springs, no one else has the Chrome silicone spring....
So is this a special deal from Magpul?
What is the advantage of the new spring?
Also what generation magpul follower is in the current P mags you have in stock

The optional enhanced chrome silicon springs are installed at the 44MAG warehouse for customer's who prefer their supperior service life.
Pmags use a special follower that is not interchangable with any other AR15 magazines.
