Those mounts are junk. I've seen some and most of them actually sit crooked on the rail too. When you remove the mount from the rail the nut loosens. You have to tighten the nut with a wrench every time. Defeats the purpose of calling them QD. They wouldn't work for air soft, paint ball or a 22. I imagine they mostly sell to kids that don't know any better.

I was at a conference that was breifed by some NSA and homeland security people a while back. they were saying 1 of the dumbest things we as americans do is PATENT are designs. Because while other US companys are forced to honor the patent law, countries like CHINA do not and it gives them a blueprint and all the info to make a knockoff.

Bottom line he said, if you want the chinese to copy something, PATENT it.

I post a thread a few months ago on what to look out for on the Chinese mounts and how to know the difference when buying online.

I hope these F'ers get shut down for copying LT.

I wish people would stop posting threads like this as I am sure more than one of us has clicked the link and increased traffic for their website. From that the company may end up here after seeing multiple hits from this site. If it never gets found or broadcasted, the less likely someone here will get scammed. Yes they exist, I am sure on a lot of different sites, but do we really need a few threads a month about knock offs here?
