backorder/out of stock item question?

I just received an email that an item that was out of stock was now in stock but when I checked an hour after I got the email, the item shows out of stock again? Does this mean that the items that were just received were used for backorder fulfillment? If so, I guess I need to order something so I can get on the backorder list?? The item is the standard Spikes AR15 lower...

They go fast. When I ordered my Spikes rifle, I was in the same boat as you. They were listed as out of stock, then I got the email and saw that they were there. After I placed my order, they were out again - all in a very short amount of time. Spikes stuff seems to be very popular and priced competitively and with the free shipping from Aim, they tend to go very fast. If you look around, you might be able to find that lower somewhere else, but it will most likely be slightly more and not with free shipping. I feel your pain, good luck hunting.

I am sure someone from Aim will chime in and maybe give an idea of when they might have more in. I don't really need another lower, but those punisher rollmarked lowers sure are cool.

we only received 100, and they only lasted a hour or so

Wow! Hard to believe a 100 go that fast.

So are we looking at weeks/months/no fracking idea leave us alone until the next shipment?

thats crazy they go so fast, glad i got mine from you guys a year ago. Seems like everything AR is super hot right now with backlogs from Christmas and now tax season

It isn't just AR stuff. AK's and AK stuff is selling like hotcakes too.

Probably some combination of tax returns, and pre-panic panic buying.

Generally, if you want a hot item right now, you have to be prepared to jump on it when you see it. In some cases, just thinking about it for a couple hours means you'll lose out.
