No, both muzzle devices are the correct length to bring a 14.5" barrel to 16" OAL.

Wow, the dynacomp version looks great. I got a Vortex upper in March and now I'm wishing that I had waited. Unfortunately getting 2 is not an option. Maybe I'll get the dynacomp and put it on my 16" Spikes.
But getting the upper, the dynacomp, and the MOE handguards at the same price? Thats a hot deal. Maybe I should be glad I won't get one. Whoever gets in on that deal is at risk of getting arrested for stealing.
