I'm looking at the drop in that's offered as a drop in upgrade for the G2 series of SF lights - I have the 80 lumen emitter right now, and it's just not doing it. I'm just wondering if anyone knows the country of origin of these, and has anyone used them in harsh conditions or shot a lot of rounds with one attached to a gun?
Have they held up? Can I bet my life on it giving me some blinding light when I need?

We can tell you Pat Rogers has 3 student guns with Q5's on all of them with now over hundreds thousands rounds down range with no issues. We have exceptional reports for many years now with the Q5 lamps in G2 and 6P's. Pat even talked about the Q5 in last years SWAT magazine July issue I believe giving his impressions of the lamp with no reported issued with many rounds down range.
