Dual Stage E2 Conversion Head

A simple question... does the light initially come on in the High or Low setting with the dual stage head?

High output first press, low second. Thank you.

Excellent, that is what I was hoping for!

I got my conversion head a couple of days ago (my E2E shows up tomorrow) and tonight a buddy with a E2D was over. I tried the head on his light and found that the light will come on at the setting opposite the setting it was last on. For instance, you use the momentary function and the light comes on high. Then you release the button and wait for a while (say 20 seconds) push the momentary button again and the light comes on low. Do it again, and the light comes on high. It doesn't seem to matter how long I wait (I tried up to about 3 minutes) the light seems to remember the last setting it was on, and comes on the opposite setting. I was under the impression based on the answer above that it would always come on high and only switch to low mode if you pressed the power button again shortly after turning the light on.

Now that SHOT is over, I hope I can get an answer on this. If this really is how the light is supposed to work (it comes on alternating high/low no matter how long between button presses) I'd like to switch it out for the single stage head.

Hmm, not sure. Would like to take a look at it, not sure what is going on.

I'll send you guys an email. I'd love to stay with the dual output head assuming it works like I hoped it would (push the button and it always comes on High at first and then press it again within X seconds for Low)
