I was just looking around the site trying to find the G2 w/ the Q5 deal in black and am unable to locate it. I found the one in tan and noticed it wouldn't let me add it to my cart - can I take this to mean you are out of stock on all? Wouldn't surprise me - pretty damn good deal if you ask me.

If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Use the drop down menu to select Black as the color and click "Add to Cart."

How dangerous is it to run the Q5 in the plastic head of the standard g2?

Danger is my middle name. Here is my duty gun. I've been running a polymer G2 on it for a while with no problems. But, you have to consider the differences in application between a weapon light and hand-held. A hand held light is probably going to be on for extended periods of time whereas a weapon light is strobed for short intervals. For a hand held light application, I would suggest an aluminum bezel like the 6P or the G2L.

MULTI-FUNCTION TAILCAP KIT question

Do you hae any videos of this item with the use and functions of the tail cap in strobe? I have a G2, and I am thinking of placing a order for this item. Also running this for extended periods of time like 10 to 20 minutes or more will it damage the g2?

We don't have any videos right now. We are actually working on some pretty big web updates and are going to have some more media available. The Tail Cap function is a great idea for a video. As for extended periods of use, I assume you are talking about the standard G2 Nitrolon with the polymer bezel? I would probably not leave it on for 20 minutes at a time. LED's run hotter than incandescent lamps. No matter who's LED you are running, you will run into issues with it getting too hot while constant on in a polymer bezel. You won't have a problem with the Aluminum heads, but I wouldn't do this with plastic.

So I shouldnt use this product with a g2 Nitrolon? I should use it with a G2 LED for extended periods of time?

Nitrolons work well for weapon light applications because the light is not on for extended periods. For your use, the G2L bezel would be better.
