Folks,

The detents that came in the RRA LPK won't fit in the holes on the POF lower.

I've tried two different LPK's and neither fit.

Do i need a specific brand of parts kit?

Can i get some suggestions on how to solve the issue?

I bought my lower stripped it is marked:

Model: P-415
Caliber: Multi
08-01<xxx>

Any help would be appreciated.

I just put my 308 lower together with generic LPK and everything fit.

Exactly what detents are you referring?

I put it in the title of the thread but neglected to put in the body of my post.

The takedown pin detents. I've tried two different parts kits (though they were both RRA and likely manufactured close to each other) in the front and rear pin holes.

Not much to see.

However, i removed the detents from my bushmaster rifle (which i bought as a complete rifle) and they fit in the POF lower perfectly.

And the RRA detents fit in my Bushy lower.

So all is well.

Interesting that the detent pins are different sizes though.

I'm not surprised the pin holes on the lowers are different sizes. I'm sure POF has better QC and tighter tolerances.

After all that's why I bought it!

What fer?

It's a standard POF Gen III lower. Details are in the OP.

If I had a micrometer i would mic the detents. Alas, i do not.
