i have a few ???? i have a stag arms model 1 (16") i would like to use ether mctar-24 or mctar-22 with a cut down front sight to use it as a short gass block. will this work? any1 have any pics of the hand gaurds used on a 16"? is this rail setup solid after install or is it on the fragile side? i have a NY legal AR so my MB is pinned and hard to get off for a normal free float set up.

This will work no problem. I would not worry about running these we have made them for years and we dont worry wehen they leave the door. They will hold up.
I will have to look for some pictures i dont have that type of set up here.
thank you

I've run the 2 piece for several years with the PD and E.R.T. VFG, Light, and sling attachment. Never moved at all. Never a problem. I highly recommend the M.I.'s
