Just wondering if it's an A2 or a pinned M4?

To ensure our butt stocks are post-ban legal in stated with assault weapons laws we utilize a pinned butt stock which looks like out tactical butt stock.

I have a stock that is pinned and I can’t seem to remove the stock. I don’t want to replace the stock, I would just like to put a sling mount in front of the stock...how do I take off the stock? I'm really hoping you don't tell me I can’t. :: Crosses fingers::

I have tried using a spanner wrench to loosen the locking nut on the receiver extension, but the darn thing won't budge. To make matters worse, I am marking up my brand new locking nut and the area around it!

What do I have to do?????

I have the "compliant" Stag M4-gery stock. It's longer than a carbine tube, and has a fake lever that secures with a hex bolt. There is only one bolt hole in the bottom of the buffer tube.

We strongly recommend that any modifications not described in the manual be performed by a gunsmith. Our receiver nuts are staked and the gunsmith will be able to remove it without causing damage to the rifle.
