I have a Stag 2H and the handguards are not tight. is this normal?
I've had loose hand guards in the past but it was just due to the fact it was an older rifle w/ thousands of rounds through it. Removing the hand guards over and over through the years made it loose. Having said that, it was more of an annoyance than anything physically wrong w/ the weapon.
For a brand new rifle or semi-new, loose hand guards probably not normal, it would annoy me though. Have you tried removing the hand guard and re-seating?

I have a M2 stag. My hand guards move about a quarter inch, yes annoying, probably normal. I am not worrying about it though, I'll probably get magpul guards.... or a rail.
I have a model 2 and my handguards are tight as is everything else on the weapon. Brand new.
